A successful autumn means a new book for Gault&Millau France. In addition to the regional guides published throughout the year, 109 is now available in bookshops from the beginning of September 2023. Here are the promises of this latest edition.
“In the Gault&Millau family, I’d like 109 !” For the fourth year running, Gault&Millau France has brought out the new blood in French gastronomy: the 109. A new list of fine addresses that have been freshly (or almost) inaugurated over the past year.
What is the 109 book?

Thanks to the meticulous work of the investigators and their director Marc Esquerré, 109 new restaurants have made their debut in the Gault&Millau. If finding 109 chefs who have opened a new restaurant in France in 2023 was a fine challenge, Gault&Millau France has risen to an even greater and tastier one. Each chef’s portrait is accompanied by the restaurant’s signature recipe. Designed for four to six guests, they contain all the key information you need to get started: preparation, cooking and resting times. As a bonus, the level of difficulty is indicated so that epicurean readers can challenge themselves too.
