Gault&Millau Slovenia unveils its awards list for the 2023 edition of the guide

10 awards for the best restaurants rewarded with 4 toques and 7 traditional special prizes

Gastronomy that is close to its terroir

This year, Gault&Millau Slovenia has donated two traditional chef awards, simply because these chefs have both respected their commitment to the preservation of the region’s culinary heritage, close links with local agriculture and raw materials, food, as well as close links with the local community or social environment.

This year’s 2023 ceremony also saw some young names receive a ton of applause at the ceremony. Gault&Millau Slovenia is looking forward to their new creations and creative stories.

“We are proud of all our established chefs, waiters, sommeliers, who maintain their quality and superiority over the years, but we are also fascinated by the new names that are only paving the way for Slovenian and international gastronomy. At Gault&Millau Slovenia, we believe that an important part of our mission is also to identify these emerging stars, expose them and encourage their well-being, as they have a lot of good and beautiful to offer to the national and international public,” said Mira Šemić, director of Gault&Millau Slovenia, on the occasion.
