Grégoire Berger won the first Award for Chef of the Year.
The Gault&Millau UAE 2022 Gala took place at the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah on Tuesday 14 June. The event brought together 200 of the UAE’s top chefs, sommeliers and restaurateurs for an evening of festivities.
During the highly anticipated event, chefs Saverio Sbaragli and Andrea Migliaccio from the Burj Al Arab created a specially designed five-course tasting menu representing the hotel group’s top restaurants.
The evening was the culmination of the brand’s anonymous and top secret survey of the best restaurants in the UAE. As well as announcing the top scores, awards were given to individuals and restaurants from all the culinary districts of the UAE.
